My Name is Kevin Miser, I grew up outside of Caldwell, Ohio, and had the Honor of meeting Scott Long when he was 12 or 13, I absolutely lov3d his great Aunts Beautiful Victorian Farmhouse up on the hill of their..180 aces if i recall..Scott gave me a signed copy, (one of the first prints) of “The Hobbit” by J.R.R.Tolkien, which facinated me, and led to my having read it 9 or 10 times, Scott was amused by this and gave me the other three books in that Trilogy, The Lord of The Rings..I have thought of Scott 10 million times throughout my lifetime, having lost contact with him when he went to Harvard University, but I have always recalled our wonderfull times together, as good friends, taking nature hikes on his Families farm, in Spring and again in falltime, before his Family would return to Virginia. There was only 2 houses , 2 farms on that lonely stretch of backcountry gravel Road, the farm we occupied, and Mrs. Lela Wilsons House and farm. We would watch over it all during the winter months, until the Return of “The Summer Peaple” which was Mrs Wilson, Jim, Carol, Mr & Mrs Long, and of course their Brillaint son, and my friend, Scotty.

I remember you from my undergraduate days at Harvard. You were good friends with my one of my tutors in English, Arthur Little. I thought you were a grad student in Romance Languages then. I seem to associate you the French Dept. My name is Timothy Benston. I see you have done well. Keep up the good work.
